Al -Ahly’s 3-0 win over Soccocim in the opener of Pool C is a great start to their campaign.
Record holders AL- Ahly of Egypt made an easy pass through Soccocim of Senegal at the ongoing 2025 African women’s volleyball Club championship in Abuja.
The Match played at the Gymnasium indoor hall of Moshood Abiola National stadium on Friday saw Egyptians dominated the game from start to finish, winning the sets 25-10, 25-14, and 25-6.
Al Ahly’s strong attack and pace left Soccocim struggling to keep up, making it difficult for them to return the ball.
The Egyptian team’s multiple kills in each set sealed their victory.
Al Ahly Sporting club ( AHL) of Egpyt, Kenya Commercial Bank Volleyball Club (KCB) of Kenya, VolleyballClub La LOI ( VLL) of Democratic Republic of Congo and Sococim(SOC) of Senegal are in pool C
Earlier, Chief of Naval Staff (CNS ) Spikers beat Spiking Stars Volleyball (SSV) of Botswana 3-0 ( 25-22,25-21,25-8) in pool B.
Others matches saw Litto Team Volleyball (LTV) of Cameroon beat 25- 18, 25-14,25-22 Club Omnisports Descartes ( COD) of Côte d’Ivoire in pool D
In Gymnasium hall,Zamalek Sporting Club (ZMK) of Egypt ( defending champions) beat Kenya Prisons Volleyball Club (PRI) of Kenya 3-0 ( 25-23 25-17,25-23) in pool B
In the final match , VolleyballClub La LOI ( VLL) of Democratic Republic of Congo at main indoor hall of volleyball vs Kenya Commercial Bank Volleyball Club (KCB) of Kenya in pool C (16-25,18-25, 12-25 )
