Volleyball: Police secure win, after prior setback

Police of Rwanda recovered from their match day one set back to convincingly beat Descartes 3-0 (25-19-, 25-11, 25-14) to cement their position for progress.

PVC took an early lead and dominated for the first set with some strong hitting for a 25-19 win.

OMD came back fighting in the second set. They showed good structured play and defence, but PVC eventually outplayed to win the second set 25-11.

 

The Rwandans shows their versatility and blocking strength to keep the Ivorians from gaining any real traction in the 3rd set, PVC maintained their authority in the 3rd set finding gaps in their opponent’s defence winning 25-14.
