In a heartwarming gesture, the Rising Star Football League (RSFL) put smiles on the faces of over 100 pregnant women, nursing mothers, and sick individuals at the Primary Health Care center in Bwari Area Council, Federal Capital Territory.

This selfless act of kindness demonstrates the organization’s commitment to supporting vulnerable members of society.

On Wednesday, the RSFL team visited the hospital in Abuja, paying maternity bills for over 100 pregnant women, covering registration, medication, and delivery expenses.

This noble act is part of the organization’s promise to support underprivileged communities during the 2024 edition.
By shouldering these financial burdens, the RSFL has alleviated significant stress and worry from these families.

It will be recalled that, RSFL has been doing an incredible job by providing a platform for young talents to showcase their abilities especially in football.
While Speaking in Bwari Hospital, the

Project Coordinator, Ifeanyi Kama, emphasized that RSFL’s mission extends far beyond the football pitch.
“We are developing individuals, providing opportunities for those who lack them. Our focus is on shaping futures and communities through sports.
” This holistic approach recognizes the interconnectedness of social well-being and sports development.
The organization plans to expand its outreach to other communities, including schools, markets women , Okada rider association and  security outfits.
By doing so, the RSFL aims to create a ripple effect of kindness and support, fostering a more compassionate society.

“That is why we are trying to reach out to people after this we are going to Lagos.”

 Some of the beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude for the RSFL’s kindness:
 ⁠Hannah David: “I’m happy they helped us. Some of us can’t afford delivery materials; they paid our bills from registration to delivery.”

I thank them for helping us especially in this hard economy.”

⁠on her part, Amaka Chukuma: “We appreciate the Midwife Miss Friday Lora: “This is what mothers need. Some can’t afford necessary care. RSFL’s assistance will go a long way; just see the excitement on our faces.”

“So coming here to help the out pay all their bills, assisting them in getting delivery materials will go a long way, you can even see the excitement on their faces.”
