A star-studded lineup of sports icons, ex-internationals, and industry leaders will participate in the Shehu Dikko Novelty Match on December 4, 2024, at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
The match will feature renowned Nigerian footballers, including Daniel Amokachi, Victor Ikpeba, Garba Lawal, Ahmed Musa, Samson Siasia, Victor Agali, and Rabiu Ali.
According to coordinator Mr. Chidi Okonkwo, the event celebrates Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), whose passion for sports has left a lasting impact on the industry.
The Shehu Dikko Novelty Match aims to raise awareness within the sports community about the new direction of Nigerian sports.
Expected dignitaries include NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko, NSC Director General Honourable Bukola Olopade, and former Enyimba International Sporting Director Jude Anyadufu.
The highly anticipated match will see Team Shehu Dikko face off against Team Nigeria, promising an exciting display of skills and camaraderie while celebrating a champion of sports development in Nigeria.
