The Authentic Nigeria Football & Allied Sports Supporters Club (ANFASSC) proudly announces that its revered Matron, the Iyaloja General of Nigeria, Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, has graciously offered her blessings, prayers, and words of encouragement to the club ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025, as the Super Eagles of Nigeria prepare to represent the nation on the continental stage.
Mrs. Tinubu-Ojo praised ANFASSC for its consistent patriotism, unity of purpose, and unwavering commitment to supporting Nigerian sports, especially the Super Eagles who carry the hopes, prayers, and pride of over 200 million Nigerians.
She offered heartfelt prayers for divine protection, victory, good health, discipline, and team spirit for the players, technical crew, and officials, while also wishing ANFASSC members safe travels and successful engagements throughout the tournament in Morocco.
She further urged the supporters to continue projecting the true Nigerian spirit, one of resilience, unity, respect, and cultural pride, both within and outside the stadiums.
According to her, football remains a powerful tool that unites Nigerians across ethnic, religious, and social lines, and the Super Eagles’ AFCON 2025 journey represents another opportunity to showcase Nigeria’s strength, character, and excellence before the rest of Africa and the world.
