The Chairman of the Jigawa State Football Association (FA), Alhaji Sabo Abdullahi Dutse, is currently in Morocco on official engagement as part of the 2025/2026 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Alhaji Dutse is attending the continental tournament in his capacity as a key stakeholder of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), where he is expected to observe proceedings and lend institutional support to the Nigeria Super Eagles.
His participation, according to sources within the football administration circle, aligns with his responsibilities in monitoring Nigeria’s performance at the tournament while engaging with other football administrators on matters concerning the development of the game across Africa.
The Jigawa FA chairman’s presence at the AFCON further underscores his commitment to the growth and advancement of football at both national and international levels, as well as his continued support for Nigerian football and its flagship national team.
