Anticipation is building as Young Talent Adabiya and Aiyegbami FC set to battle for honours in the grand finale of the 15th edition of the Dada Unity Cup.
The highly anticipated final is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, at the Dada Primary School Field, Okelele, Ilorin, and is expected to be a cracker between two determined and well-matched sides.
Young Talent Adabiya, who have been high-flying throughout the tournament, booked their place in the final with a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Oju Ekun in the first semi-final. Aiyegbami FC also secured their spot in the title clash after edging past Ologede FC by the same scoreline in the second semi-final.
Both teams have displayed remarkable tenacity, energy and determination on their journey to the final and are expected to bring the same intensity as they vie for the coveted trophy.
The grassroots football tournament, sponsored by Honorable Saka Yusuf Eletu, is aimed at promoting football development at the community level while fostering unity among youths.
Organisers of the competition have assured that Honorable Saka Yusuf Eletu, alongside his entourage and other top dignitaries, will grace the final. Winners of the tournament are also set to smile home with exciting cash prizes.
