CNS Spikers, Nigeria Customs Dominate as CGC Volleyball League Ends Today in Abuja

The 2025 Comptroller General of Customs (CGC) Volleyball Premier League reaches its climax today at the Package B of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, with top teams battling for honours after an intense 13-day final phase that began on December 1.

As of December 12, after 21 cumulative matches, CNS Spikers and Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) have emerged as the dominant forces in both the men’s and women’s categories, setting the tone for a thrilling final day of fixtures.

In the men’s standings, CNS Spikers sit comfortably at the top with an impressive 61 sets won, 15 sets lost, and 59 points, underlining their consistency and attacking depth throughout the competition.

They are closely followed by the Nigeria Customs Service men’s team, which has recorded 59 sets won, 16 lost, and 55 points, maintaining pressure at the summit.

The chasing pack includes:Nigeria Correctional Service (45 sets won, 33 lost, 38 points),Nigeria Police Force (44–36, 37 points),Kano Pillars (44–38, 36 points),NSCDC (41–38, 34 points)

Lower on the table are COAS Spikers VC, Offa VC, UCEM VC, and Sunshine Spikers, while NAF Rockets and Kada Kings remain rooted at the bottom, with Kada Kings managing just four points after conceding 62 sets.

In the women’s category, the Nigeria Customs Service women’s team has been virtually untouchable, topping the standings with a perfect run of 60 sets won, only five sets lost, and a maximum 60 points.

They are trailed by CNS Spikers (51–6, 48 points) and COAS Spikers (49–18, 48 points), while NSCDC remains in close contention with 47 points.

Other notable performers include NAF Rockets and Life Camp, while Wikki Queens and Delta Queens occupy the bottom of the table, with Delta Queens yet to record a point.

The final day of the league on Saturday , December 13, promises high-stakes encounters across both categories.
