Lack of proper structure causing more problems to the national team says Switzerland based Coach Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony.
Speaking with Faith Akindele (Mr stereo) on his Sport show on Crowther 88.5 FM OYO when asked how he feels that Nigeria fell to the hand Dr Congo in the world Cup playoffs, coach Triple A responded by saying the them lost because those in affairs of sport has failed to look inward and invest in youth football like U17, U20, U23 when last has super eagles promote players from the youth teams to the national team ?.
The Switzerland based Coach Adedeji further recalled that though he predicted and wanted Nigeria to play Cameroon in the final but Dr Congo is a team to watch out for though they may have less population but with the way they play their football they can pull a surprise which they eventually did against Cameroon and the super eagles, Dr Congo deserved the victory because they played well .
Coach Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony reacted to Eric seko Chelle allegations saying Dr Congo used voodoo , according to Coach Triple A who said he agreed with super eagles coach , he said everybody has their ways of praying like Christian, Muslim, traditional those , he said Dr Congo was only praying in there own way which it like voodoo to other religions.
He also attributes super eagles problem to the fact that the team only rely on Victor osimhen without him super eagles always struggle, like wise in the Middle we need a good creative midfielder who can give accurate passes and create chances, those in the flake are just to relax and weak .
The Switzerland based Coach concluded by saying he still believes in Eric seko Chelle, he is still the right man to lead the Super Eagles, the only coach in Nigeria I think can take over from him is samson saisai or amunike though not doing well with Heartland FC .
So I believe if we can stick and support Eric seko Chelle who is still unbeaten since he took over the job he will definitely deliver as we are preparing for AFCON in Morocco.
