Doma United FC Defeats Adamawa United 1-0 In a Friendly Match

As part of preparations for the upcoming NNL league season this year, Doma United secured a 1-0 victory over Adamawa United. The match, which took place on yesterday Friday evening in the town of Numan, Adamawa State, was thrilling and well-contested, with the home fans of Adamawa United showing great support and the match proceeding peacefully.

Although it was a friendly match, Doma United dominated the game, resulting in an early goal before halftime. The goal was scored by a 17-year-old young player, A. Mahmoud (nicknamed China). Adamawa United also put up a strong performance, launching several dangerous attacks, But Doma United’s goalkeeper, Emmanuel Oche, was solid at the back and prevented any goals.

Doma United finished the match with 10 players after one of their players, Desmond, was shown a red card by the referee.

After the match, Doma United’s Technical Adviser, Najib Mabo, praised his players and commended them for their determination and commitment throughout the game.

With this victory, Doma United has made history as the first team to defeat Adamawa United in their home stadium since it was opened.

Doma United’s next fixture will be in the Ahlan Cup pre-season tournament, scheduled to take place next week in Bauchi State.
