Excitement is back at the Giginya Memorial Stadium as Sokoto United Football Club officially resumed training ahead of the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League season.
So far, 18 players have reported to camp, setting the tone for a busy and promising campaign.
General Manager, Alhaji Umar Muhammad Maraya, welcomed the players back and urged others to join the squad without delay.
He assured fans that Head Coach Peter Ageni and his technical crew are already putting the team through intensive sessions to ensure Sokoto United starts the season strong.
Alhaji Maraya expressed optimism that the new season will bring positive results for the club. He called for unity, discipline, and hard work, stressing that Sokoto United is ready to give supporters something to cheer about in the months ahead.
