The company’s chairman, Bright Echefu, led a media tour of its facilities and technologies in Abuja on Wednesday , highlighting its capabilities in boosting national security.
Some of the key features of EIB Stractoc’s facilities are drone monitoring room: A state-of-the-art facility that enables real-time surveillance and monitoring of critical locations.
“ Intelligence Fusion Center: A hub that coordinates and assists critical operations of the armed forces in troubled areas like the North-East and North-West.
“ Digital Forensic and Tracking Unit: A unit equipped with advanced technology to detect and track security threats.
“ Helipad and Jet Fuel Depot: Facilities that support the Nigerian Armed Forces’ air operations.
“ Command and Control Vehicle: A mobile command center that enables effective coordination of security operations.
“ The Locally manufactured drones and bombs designed to support the armed forces in combat operations,” he said.
Echefu highlighted the significance of local defence manufacturing, citing examples of Nigerian companies producing advanced defence equipment, including locally manufactured drones designed for surveillance and combat operations.Locally produced bombs that meet the armed forces needs.
According to him, EIB Stractoc’s made-in-Nigeria defence tech includes Drones, Bombs and Surveillance Devices, Luft TV, Bright FM (98.7 FM), and Luftreiber Automobile Services Center, showcase their multifaceted operations, with the latter also providing repair services.
The EIB Group has diverse ventures beyond TSTV, including intelligence work.
“ This locally manufactured drones are for surveillance and combat operations .
“ The bombs, are designed to support the armed forces and surveillance devices help to advanced electro-optical devices and thermal imaging equipment for day and night operations,” he said.
According to him the company’s defence solutions have significantly enhanced national security by improving intelligence gathering.
“ This advanced surveillance devices and drones enable real-time monitoring and tracking of security threats and enhancing operational efficiency .
“ This has also help to reduce dependence on imported equipment .
“ The Local manufacturing of defence equipment reduces reliance on foreign suppliers,” he said.
He also highlights that the Army Forces of Nigeria has recorded significant successes in combating security challenges, but these successes are often not publicized.
“ I believes that if the public were aware of the number of threats neutralized, they would be surprised.
“ The military is doing an excellent job, despite facing pressure from various threats, including those migrating from neighboring countries,” he said.

The Nigerian Air Force has also trained personnel in electrical engineering, who are now servicing their aircraft locally.
“ I believes that Nigeria has the capacity to end insurgency with the amount of local companies investing heavily in security solutions.
“ The government’s support for local production has enabled companies to thrive and provide innovative solutions to security challenges,” he said .

Notably, Over 70 media representatives from various outlets covered the tour, which featured visits to surveillance sites and Luft TV decoders were distributed to participating journalists, along with six months of free subscription.
