I am very proud of the Super Eagles performance at the just concluded African cup of nation and they got a pass mark says coach Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony.
Switzerland based Tacticians coach Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony speaking with Faith Akindele (Mr stereo) on his Sport show Sport Gallery on Crowther 88.5 FM OYO, sent his congratulatory message to Super Eagles and all patriotic Nigerians for winning the bronze at the just concluded African cup of nation in Morocco, according to the Swiss Tacticians he rate the performance of Nigerian players 10/10 and very much satisfied with the spirit the players put on .
I am of the opinion that Eric seko Chelle contract needs to be extended as quick as possible because he is currently a hot cake has so many nations have shown interest in him according to rumours that Tunisia, Angola and Gabon are looking forward to hiring him because of the transformation he as brought into the team of Super Eagles, only enemy of Nigeria we say Eric Chelle don’t deserve a contract extension.
Going into memory lane what Eric seko Chelle has done in his first year in charge of super Eagles no coach either foreign coach like westerof or any indigenous did that in there first year in super eagles, Eric seko Chelle still unbeaten in 17 games in an open play expect the lost via penalty to Dr Congo, and a warm up game against Egypt, in the AFCON the team scored 14 goals and won the bronze medal, the record is there for him’, NFF should do the needful and extend his contract.
The Swiss based Coach reacting to olishe comments, well he is entitled to his opinion but I don’t think that is the mean reason they dont win the AFCON triumph the incident between osimhen and lookman came and gone and despite that they played well and made us proud, the unity and cooperation in the team helped us and we won the bronze medal which with this performance Super Eagles under Eric seko Chelle can win the Next AFCON in 2027.
Coach Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony said what happened in the final between host Morocco and Senegal is totally wrong, the Senegalese coach was wrong to ask his players to leave the pitch , no matter what happened coach doesn’t have the right to instruct his players to leave the pitch it is unprofessional only the referee has the power to ask anyone to leave the pitch and as a coach I cant do that.
