The race for the 2025 HerGame Girls Football Championship title intensified today as Matchday 4 produced tight contests, goalless draws and a single walkover, setting the stage for a thrilling quarterfinal showdown on Wednesday.
At the heart of the action, Nazareth and Pitchwild played out a hard-fought 0–0 draw, with both sides cancelling each other out despite creating chances in both halves. It was a similar story as Diamond and M Square also settled for a goalless result after a cagey encounter dominated by midfield battles.
Ladi FC failed to show up for their fixture and consequently suffered a 3–0 walkover defeat to EUPA, who progressed without kicking a ball. Meanwhile, Nasarawa Shooting and Talent Developer fought to a stalemate in another 0–0 draw, completing a fixture list that proved tight and fiercely contested.
With the group phase now concluded, attention switches to Wednesday’s quarterfinals, where the tournament’s top sides will battle for a place in the last four. The matchups are as follows:
Generation Next vs Jeremiah
SIK Paragon vs Talent Developer
Nazareth Shooting vs Horvel
FOSLA vs BIA
Fans can expect high energy, tactical football and knockout drama as the HerGame Championship enters its decisive stage.
