The NFF President Cup Pre-Season Tournament, currently ongoing in Kano, has paid a deserving tribute to Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin (Maliya), in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Nigerian football.
In a special ceremony, the organizing committee presented Senator Jibrin with an Award of Excellence, acknowledging his unwavering support for the development of the game in Nigeria.
Unfortunately, the esteemed senator was unable to attend the event in person and was represented by Mr. Dominic Lorfa, General Manager of Barau FC, who received the award on his behalf from NFF board members Alhaji Babagana Kalli Kachalla and Mr. Timothy.
This gesture underscores Senator Jibrin’s commitment to promoting football in Nigeria, and we congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition. May his efforts continue to inspire growth and excellence in Nigerian football.
