The Solid Miners have just left for Lagos ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League Match-day Nine tie against hosts, Ikorodu City FC.
A 46-man delegation, comprising 20 Players, four Technical Officials, five Backroom Staff, including the Media Crew, Club’s Chairman, Solomon Babanjah, and four other Board Members, and twelve top Government officials, including Member representing Akwanga North at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Larry Ven Bawa, the State Football Association’s Chairman, Salisu Galadima, led by the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, departed the Local Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, a few minutes ago, aboard Max Airlines, for the journey that will last one hour.
High-up in spirits, the Solid Miners will hope to maintain their top-of-the-table tempo when they play the Lagos-based side on Sunday, 19th October, 2025, at the historic ten thousand capacity multi-purpose Late Mobolaji Johnson’s Arena, formerly known as Onikan Stadium, at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island, by 4pm.
Last season, Nasarawa United scooped all three points off their hosts in a 1-2 away win before the Lagos fans.
Sunday’s match will be live on Propel Sports television.
