The PowerBlink One-Day Grassroots Football Tournament, held on October 1, 2025, at Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, was a huge success, showcasing the talents of young footballers from five local teams.
The tournament, organized by PowerBlink Venture/Football Club, aimed to promote grassroots football development, sportsmanship, and community engagement among young players.
The tournament was attended by prominent coaches, including:Head Coach Abdullahi (Addington FA);Manager Balogun (Noble 5 Star FA);Head Coach Adepoju (Pivotal FA);Head Coach Moses (Elite FA) and Head Coach Yusuf (Panthers FA).
Players like Akanbi Lateef (Pivotal Sport Academy) and Godswin (Elite FA) expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to learn new techniques and enjoy the tournament.
Coach Evaris Modabushi praised the organizers for a well-executed competition that allowed players to showcase their skills.
Elijah Opetunde Ajayi, CEO of PowerBlink Venture/Football Club, emphasized the importance of grassroots football development and community engagement among young players in Ibeju Lekki.
He stated that the tournament aims to provide a platform for young talents to shine and believes it deserves recognition from all well-meaning Nigerians.
