Basira Football Club Lafia has bolstered their squad with five new signings ahead of the new 2025/26 Nigeria National League Season. This addition aim to improve the club performance and to enable the team to achieve its set target.
The unveiling ceremony, held on Friday, October 3rd, 2025, was a significant yet concise event which was attended by the club’s founder Salisu Galadima along with club Chairman and Technical Adviser Mr. Ahmed Usman Egye and Aminu Musa, respectively.
The signing of the new players is a strategic move by the club to address some key needed positions.
The standout signings include Abubakar Yusuf joining from Marshall FC (Jos, Plateau), Richard Teryila from Binani FC (Adamawa), and Gyenimi Abashiya from Sokoto United (Sokoto). Others are Ogbu M. Chidera from JB Central Football Academy (Abuja) and Bello Abdullahi from Nasarawa United.
