NSCDC, Customs, COAS Lead the Pack in CGC Volleyball League

The second day of the 2025 CGC Volleyball Premier League delivered thrilling matches in both the men’s and women’s categories, showcasing the skills and determination of participating teams.

NSCDC’s victory over Olalomi Queens 3-0 showcases their dominance in the 2025 CGC Volleyball Premier League at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Moshood Abiola national stadium Abuja on Sunday.

NSCDC won the sets 25-16, 25-11, and 25-14, demonstrating a strong performance across all departments.

This win secures NSCDC’s second victory in the league, highlighting their potential as a top contender.

NSCDC’s impressive win against Olalomi Queens follows their earlier victory against CNS Spikers 3-2, where they came back from a deficit to win the final set 15-11.

Others results of Day 2 in Women-COAS Spikers defeated Life Camp 3-1, with set scores 25-17, 25-20, 19-25, and 25-19.

NAF beat Wikki 3-0, winning the sets 25-18, 25-18, and 25-12.

Customs defeated Benue Queens 3-0, with set scores 25-15, 25-21, and 25-9.

In the Men’s Category , Correctional Services won a nail-biting match against Police 3-2. The set scores were 25-22, 24-26, 21-25, 25-18, and 17-15.

NSCDC flogged Offa VC 3-0, winning the sets 25-23, 25-21, and 25-21.

COAS hammered Kada 3-0, winning the sets 25-0, 25-0, and 25-0.

Customs came from behind to defeat Kano Pillars 3-1, with set scores 23-25, 25-12, 25-14, and 25-23.

The 2025 CGC Volleyball Premier League features 24 teams, with 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams.

The league promises to be an exciting competition, with teams vying for the top spots and substantial prizes.

A total of ₦24 million has been allocated for the first phase of subsidies, with the same package to follow in the final phase.
