Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC has been drawn into Northern Conference C for the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The Ilorin-based side, who featured in the Southern Conference last season, has now been moved to the Northern Conference ahead of the new campaign, scheduled to kick off on Friday, November 8, 2025.
This development was confirmed during the official draws ceremony conducted at the NNL Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Kaduna, Kaduna State.
The Saraki Boys have been paired in Northern Conference C alongside Lobi Stars of Makurdi, FC Basira of Lafia, City FC of Abuja, Mighty Jets of Jos, Doma United of Gombe, Kada Warriors of Kaduna, and Sokoto United of Sokoto State.
ABS will open their campaign with back-to-back home fixtures against Sokoto United and FC Basira at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl, George Innih Stadium, Ilorin, Kwara State.
Meanwhile, among the major resolutions reached during the AGM was the abolition of the Super 8 playoff. Going forward, winners of each of the four conferences will earn automatic promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), while a Super Four playoff will determine the overall NNL champion.
