The Captain of Wikki Spikers Volleyball Club, Mohammed Abdulladir, has expressed gratitude to the Bauchi State government for sponsoring the team in the ongoing 2025 National Division I Volleyball League, Vipers Volleyball Club (VC) on Thursday in Abuja.

The team recently secured a 2-0 win over Kwara united , marking their third win and first loss in four matches.
“We are thrilled to have secured this win, and we are grateful for the outcome.
“ Our ultimate goal is to move from Division I to the Premier League, and this win brings us closer to achieving that target.
“ We appreciate the support of our sponsors, the Bauchi State government, and we are proud of our team’s performance,” he said.
Abdulladir also suggested that the Bauchi State government should improve on the welfare aspect of the team’s support.
“ While it’s not bad, we believe that being in Division 1 warrants better support. We would like to see improvements in this area to help us perform at our best,” he said.
With five matches left to play, they are determined to give it their all and make their state proud.
Others matches in division 2 saw Bayonet spikers lost to sokoto caliphate 1-2.
