CAVB President Extends Support to Cape Verde

The President of the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB), Bouchra Hajij, has sent a heartfelt message of solidarity and compassion to the people of Cape Verde amidst the hardships they are facing.

In her statement, Madame Hajij on Tuesday.

“ On behalf of the African volleyball family, I expressed  our deep sadness and support for the Cape Verde population, President Antonio, particularly those affected by Hurricane Erin in São Vicente.

She recalled that Cape Verde can count on the friendship and brotherhood of African volleyball.

She assured the sporting authorities and the  people of Cape Verde of the unwavering support of the CAVB, reaffirming that the spirit of solidarity and unity remains at the core values of the institution.

Madame Hajij assured the people of Cape Verde of the CAVB’s unwavering support, emphasizing the organization’s core values of solidarity and unity.

Cape Verde has been an active and committed member of the African volleyball family, contributing significantly to the sport’s growth on the continent.

The archipelago plays a leading role in African volleyball governance and development, with Mr. Antonio Rodriguez holding a Vice President position in the CAVB.

The CAVB President highlighted that sport transcends borders and competitions, serving as a powerful vector for human solidarity and brotherhood among nations.

An active and committed member of the African volleyball family, Cape Verde has been contributing for many years to the radiation of the discipline on the continent.
