The Africa Level 2 Coaching Course Organized by the Nigerian Aquatic Federation (NAqF) and World Aquatics reached a Conclusion on the 22nd of June 2025.
The Event which was held at the Media Center of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja had 50 coaches in participation from Across the Federation.
The four day event which which started on the 19th of June 2025 featured both practical and theoretical sessions designed to equip Coaches with the required techniques and knowledge of the Sports.
One of the Participants Mr Kadri from Edo State described the exercise as Innovative saying he is motivated to create the new set of swimming stars
Speaking after the Training Session The Facilitator and World Aquatic instructor Cedric Finch expressed his satisfaction on the Quality of Coaches in Nigeria and their eagerness to learn. He described the exercise as a good exchange of Knowledge and believes in the future of the sports in Nigeria
The President of the Federation Chief Mrs Chinonye Daphey Aliyu believes this exercise will position Nigeria to perform at its optimum in International events especially in the Long distance races. She also stated that this training exercise will be an annual event which will be aimed at Improving the Coaching in the Country
