Audu Joseph, Chairman and Managing Director of Almagate Integrated Services Nigeria Limited, has announced a strategic partnership with the Nigeria National League (NNL) aimed at boosting grassroots football development across the country.

The announcement was made during the 2025 combined NNL/ProStar/Sportlight Hub Monthly Awards ceremony, where Joseph spoke passionately about his commitment to the sport and the importance of supporting youth development through football.

A former footballer himself and a proud father of football-playing children, Joseph expressed deep appreciation for the league’s organization and the opportunity to engage with key figures in Nigerian football.

“I’m truly impressed with the event today—it has given me the chance to meet important stakeholders and network with individuals I might never have crossed paths with otherwise,” he said.

Joseph noted that although the partnership with NNL is still in its early stages, the vision is clear: to contribute meaningfully to the development of football in Nigeria, starting from the grassroots level.

“Our company has already started sponsoring a grassroots football competition at the stadium, and we have plans to improve and expand it over the next five years,” he revealed. “We are committed to making a real difference.”

He commended the NNL for its efforts in promoting football at the national level and expressed his optimism about what the collaboration could achieve.

“We are just at the beginning of this journey with NNL, and I’m already encouraged by what I’ve seen,” Joseph said, affirming Almagate’s long-term commitment to football development.

The partnership between Almagate Integrated Services and the NNL is expected to serve as a catalyst for talent discovery, community engagement, and sustainable support for young footballers aiming to build professional careers.
