This morning, Yobe Desert Stars fc is back, refreshed, and energized following a commanding win over Kada fc of Kaduna State over the weekend at the August 27th Stadium in Damaturu. The victory has boosted the team morale as they continue their quest to dominate the league table.
Under the capable leadership of the Club Chairman, Mohammed Alkali Achama Sarkiyo (S10 Z10), Yobe Desert Stars fc has shown remarkable improvement, discipline, and unity. His strategic direction and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in the team’s progress this season.
The team is now focused on securing a top position on the table to qualify for the highly competitive NNL 2024/25 Super Eight, where they aim to showcase their strength and earn promotion to the top tier of Nigerian football.
This success would not have been possible without the steadfast support of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Honorable Mai Mala Buni. A youth friendly and inclusive leader, Governor Buni continues to invest in sports development as a tool for youth empowerment, unity, and community growth across the state.
