The executive of the NWFL Premiership Media Directors Forum warmly congratulates the 2024/2025 NWFL Super Six playoffs qualifiers namely Rivers Angels, Edo Queens, Bayelsa Queens, Remo Stars Ladies, Nasarawa Amazons and Naija Ratels for the showpiece holding in Ikenne, Ogun state from May 8 to May 17, 2025.
The Forum executive noted that the sixsome proved their mettle during the regular season’s campaign, and their respective emergence from the two groups showed inarguably that they are the best in the land.
The Forum wishes the campaigners best of luck, and also pray fervently that fair play and sportsmanship will be the order of the day that will see the very best among them emerge as champions at the end of the day.
Apart from Remo Stars Ladies, who are heading to the premium showpiece as debutant, and Naija Ratels as two timers, the other four are regulars and champions respectively.
The trio of Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens, and title holders, Edo Queens, have all represented the nation at the continent.
The Ikenne showdown will decide the newest champions who will go ahead to fight for a ticket in the WAFU B playoffs for a place in the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League.
The Forum extends her warmest sporting regards to the entire 16-team NWFL Premiership for their commendable and spirited fight in the just concluded regular season and wishes them the very best in their future endeavours.
