Best Talent Football Club of Mowe on Sunday, April 20,2025,emerged champions of the maiden edition of Redemption City Football Tournament held at Redemption High School stadium, Mowe, Ogun State beaten Grace Arcade 2-1.
The tournament which came to a thrilling conclusion have Akinola Jamiu and Olaniyan Komolafe Ezekiel humbled their opponents at 4 and 10 minutes of the encounter and make Adeyinka Adeyemo’s boys to snatch the coveted trophy in an iconic celebration.
Known as integrity team, Best Talent remains unbeaten in the competition having decimated KIC FC 6-1 in the semi finals of this competition and steam rose other teams in the previous stages thus propelled the players to decline to settle for less but the coveted trophy with 19 goals scored, 2 conceded
Speaking with the Head Coach of the Mowe giants, Farouk Yusuf, he appreciated the Chairman of the club, Mr Adeyinka Adeyemo for his massive support towards the resounding success.
This is another title won by this club in quick succession having won GreenLock Summer Football tournament. He extended same to the Management and the commitment of the players for their doggedness and resilience in lifting the trophy against the hard fighting opponents.
In his words: “I like to give a big kudos to my players for doing a wonderful job today. They all played to my instructions and the tactical and technical advice given reflected in the outcome of the game.
What people should know is that no game is won in advance as every final is not always easy. Everyone believes they deserve the trophy too but its only meant for a team that God choses. This is our time to collectively rejoice and give God Almighty the glory. “
He added: ” Grace Arcade resisted all incursions threw at them but my boys employed other strategies to dislodge their antics and at the end of the day, it paid off .
Appreciating the founder of the club, Adeyinka Adeyemo, former Coca-Cola Coach noted that the chairman of the club has been a moral boosting tonic for the succes of the team and he cannot but thank him for his massive support so far.
He said: “my chairman is a man of his words. He has been a pillar of strength to the team. Also, the entire Management team, medical, media are all supporting in achieving this victory. I say thank you all. This is just a part of preparations designed for the forthcoming season and I believe it would help us a great deal in achieving our target“.

KIC FC won the third place encounter and the winners ,Best Talent Football Club went home with a sum of Two Million Naira(N2M).
