Sixteen teams have registered to participate in the new season of Elite Under 13 League.
The League will commence on Saturday 26th April, 2025 at Sheikh AbdulQuadri College Field and other fields in Ilorin, Kwara state.
Among the participating teams in the League are Koller FA, Apex Star FA, Surprise FA, Solicitor FA, Flourish FA, Musty FA, Future Star FA and Ultimate FA.
Other teams are Giwa FA, Pepsi FA, Supreme City FA, Gerewu FA, Ogosupa FA, Super United FA, Unique FA and IBS FA.
Comrade Lawal EruDupe has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the league.
He is to oversee smooth running of the league, and for the end in a logical conclusion.
The Chief Operating Officer in a phone interview with journalist described the appointment as a privilege and promised to work assiduously for the success of the league.
He stated that, the League is organized to discover talented players in the communities and to harnessing their potentials.
“The main motive of organizing this league is to discover more talented players and to bring unity and love among the communities”
As the league is still looking for sponsors, He promised to do everything within his power to support and also solicit for assistance from stakeholders to sponsors the league.
“No sponsors yet, I will try everything within my capacity to look for sponsors for the league”
The Chief Operating Officer, however enjoined all the participating teams to show love for each other and exhibit spirit of sportsmanship before, during and after the league.
