EFCC FC coach Kabiru Sani appreciates support base, as he begins CAF-B License Coaching Course

EFCC FC coach Kabiru Adeyemi Sani is among the 25 successful coaches selected by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as participants, for the re-moduled CAF-B Lisence coaching course.

Coach Kabiru as he is popularly called, stands out as one of the most brilliant young coaches in Nigeria, with a successful track record of trophies won, impressive playing philosophy and a growing number of international football stars who trained under him.

After bagging his NIS advanced coaching certificate in 2012, he proceeded to learning under coach Malomo, coach Shola Popo and Coach Ilerika before becoming the Head coach of EFCC FC in 2019. He bagged his CAF-C lisence in 2015, two years before the CAF coaching course was suspended in Nigeria, in 2017.

As a brilliant coach, Kabiru Adeyemi Sani quickly used his experience and philosophy to dominate football in Abuja- winning a total of 5 State FA Cup titles and 6 Preseason trophies amongst many other recognised and unrecognised trophies.

He is currently among the coaches studying to bag the re-modelled Confederation of African Football (CAF) B-License which is the second highest coaching qualification in Africa. This License could earn coach Kabiru Adeyemi Sani a job anywhere in Africa as a certified international coach.

Speaking with Abiola Shodiya, coach Kabiru thanks’ his base of support and his family.

*”Football is not only a job to me, it is my passion. I teach football to see it’s beautiful implementation and train players to develop and become a better version of their talent. We are here to acquire more knowledge on advanced flow of football and we’ll stay focus to also become better versions of ourselves,” he said.*

Accoding to the Nigeria Football Federation, the remodelled CAF-B coaching course which started on 7th April 2025 will be concluded on 25th August 2025.
