The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum has boycotted the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) meeting held on January 16, 2025. This decision was taken in solidarity with the position of Chief EK Clark on the Rivers State issue.
The PDP Governors who were absent from the meeting include:
– Governor of Taraba State
– Governor of Enugu State
– Governor of Oyo State
– Governor of Zamfara State
– Governor of Osun State
– Governor of Bauchi State
– Governor of Bayelsa State
– Governor of Rivers State
– Governor of Delta State
The PDP Governors Forum has been critical of the NGF’s leadership and its handling of the controversy surrounding Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike.
