The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) has announced it’s first 6 standing committees to oversee football governance, and innovation across the capital city.
According to a statement signed by the FA Chairman Adam Mouktar, the committees will serve as the backbone for strategic operations, ensuring effective management and sustainable growth of football in the FCT.
Unsurprisingly though, Journalist Uche Nwudoh was named as the chairman Media and Public Relations Committee. The ace broadcaster has rendered media expertise for the FA for a couple years before now, making her appointment a widely accepted one.
The newly constituted committees and it’s chairpersons include:
1. Technical and Development Committee
Chairman: Bassey Patrick
2. Competitions and Events Committee
Chairman: Hon Salihu Kolo
3. Finance and Sponsorship Committee
Chairman: Hon Dr John Gabaya
4. Media and Public Relations Committee
Chairman: Uche Nwudoh
5. Ethics and Disciplinary Committee
Chairman:
1) Hashimu O Adams.
2) Barr Jimmy Kadiri (Secretary)
3) Musa Yusuf Abaji
4) Hulda Nkwocha
5) Mansur Abdullahi
6) Women Committee
1) Pat Ajuma (Chair Woman)

The FCT FA also stated that more committees will be announced in the coming weeks to address other critical areas of operations, including Area Councils, Strategic Development & Partnerships, Youth football, referees’ development, and player welfare, Facilities, Media & PR, Appeals.
The FA Chairman Adem Mouktar stated that it was a carefully made decision.
