Niger Tornadoes surrendered all three points to Abia Warriors in an NPFL Match Day 16 encounter at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday .
Majin Mohammed’s side failed to find their rhythm in the early stages of the game which could be attributed to a tactical tweak in the team’s lineup as they missed the coordination of Victor Okoro who failed to make the trip with a minor sickness and Papa Daniel who is presently in CHAN Eagles’ Camp.

The Ikon Allah Boys were presented with a chance to reduce the tally via a scramble in the box, Joseph Godstime had an option to pass but chose to shoot, the goalkeeper however managed to have a hand on his ball as it goes out for a corner kick.
Niger Tornadoes eventually reduced the tally as the hosts bowed to pressure when a defender committed a punishable foul inside the box just at the death as the referee blew for a our first penalty of the season
. Ahmed Family smartly converted from the spot to end the tie 2-1.
