The chief executive officer, CEO New Year Mega Lottery, Sunday Adeleye believes that there is no negativity in lottery.

He said at the partnership launch of the New Year Mega Lottery with the Nationwide League  in Abuja on Thursday was that New Year Mega Lottery wants to be part of success story of Nigeria football.

Identifying with Nationwide League is because it’s the biggest league globally and we want to be part of the success story of the Nigeria football league.

With the title New Year Mega Lottery Nationwide League, the league has huge number of youth and grassroots programme.

The grassroots needs support and that’s why we’re coming in to support the grassroots through New Year Mega Lottery and see how we can support the system and boost football in Nigeria,” Sunday Adeleye said.

According to him, “apart from supporting the league, we also create job opportunities, we have players that are jobless and can login as our agents and distributors.

“ The good thing about it is that this is not sports betting and there’s no law that prohibit players from playing lottery, and they can take it as business and as well as leisure.”

The New Year Mega Lottery chief executive also noted that giving back is part of the system and with the current situation, it’s an opportunity to remove them out of poverty.
