Offa VC hands over CNS 1st Defeat
Defending champion, Offa Volleyball Club of Kwara state handed over CNS Spikers their first defeat in the 2024 Comptroller General Customs (CGC )Volleyball Premier League on Monday.
The CGC Volleyball Premier League, saw the Two times Champion, Offa beat CNS Spikers 3-1 (21-15, 25-22, 25-20, 25-15) in a highly competitive match played at the indoor sports hall of Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
Both teams have recorded one loss each in the ongoing league. Meanwhile, CNS Spikers have lost one match in three years.
Nigeria Customs Service are the sponsor of the 2024 edition of volleyball premier league.
This Year league is organized by the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) in collaboration with the Nigeria Customs Service.
The league is now tagged the 2024 Comptroller General of Customs (CGC) Volleyball Premier League.
A total number of 24 teams which comprises of 12 men’s and 12 women’s are participate in the 2024 Comptroller General of Customs Volleyball Premier League.
The first phase of the 2024 Comptroller General of Customs Volleyball Premier League which stated on August 26 is expected to end on September 10, 2024.
