Nigeria Customs Service defeats COAS Spikers 3-0

 

 

 

Nigeria Customs Service defeated  Nigerian Army (COAS Spikers) 3-0 ( 25-19, 25-16, 26-24) in the women’s match on day 9 of the ongoing 2024 CGC Volleyball Premier League in Abuja on Tuesday.
In a revenged  match played at the indoor sports hall of Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja. Recall that COAS Spikers beat Nigeria Customs Service in the men’s match on Monday night.

 

 

Nigeria Customs Services  women’s started the game on a high note and velocity getting vital points off  COAS Spikers.

The  Nigeria Customs Services team gave the  COAS Spikers team  an upper edge to end the first  set by 25-19.

In the second set ,Nigeria Customs Services  side looking more determined and maintained the momentum  against COAS Spikers team by 25 to 16 points.

The third was entertaining as both teams showed class with their defences from lose ball.

The COAS Spikers team picking  more points against the Nigeria Customs Service side .

But the Nigeria Customs Service made some tactical changes to stop the opposite player of the COAS Spikers which eventually paid off as they won by 26 to 24 points.

Other saw Kada Emeralds beat Immigration 3-2  (21-25, 25-20, 21-25, 25-17, 15-11)

Kwara United VC lost to  Olalomi Royal VC 2-3  (25-22, 15-25, 18-25, 25-22, 9-15)
A total number of 24 teams which comprises of 12 men’s and 12 women’s are participate in the 2024 Comptroller General of Customs Volleyball Premier League.
The first phase of the 2024 Comptroller General of Customs Volleyball Premier League which stated on August 26 is expected to end on September 10, 2024.
