2024 Paralympic : 24 Athletes To Fly Nigeria Flag , As Team Nigeria Depart For Germany on Monday

   A total of 24 athletes drawn from four sports which includes Para Athletics , Para Badminton, Para Powerlifting and Para Table Tennis are ready to embark on training tour in Germany as the  2024 Paralympics will commences in France from August 28th to September 8th, 2024.   .

  A breakdown shows that Athletics has five athletes , Badminton has two , Powerlifting  has nine and Table Tennis has eight  will represent Nigeria at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

President of Paralympic Committee Nigeria (PCN) , Sunday Odebode who disclosed this in Lagos, said that PCN is packaging a documentary for Team Nigeria Para athletes ahead of their training tour departure to Saarbrucken , Germany on Monday,  August 12th and August 13th , 2024.

 Odebode who have been visiting the athletes in camp to donate some items to boost their wellness said that  the documentary is another way of showcasing the potential aspects of Nigeria Paralympic athletes as they head to Paris for the Games.

 The contingent will depart to Germany in two batches. The first batch will move on Monday 12th August while the last batch leaves on Tuesday 13th August. 2024.

 At the Tokyo 2020 Summer Games, Nigeria won 10 medals ( four gold, one  silver, and five bronze).
